Default OT: anyone know how to spray ink onto a dvd ?

A couple of years ago when I bought it, my Epson R300 came with a plastic
caddy, into which I can fit a cd or dvd, in order to print on it. Any idea
what software can help me to do this ? ...without me having to "trial and
error" my way through it, and doubtless wasting discs and ink ! - ?

I've scanned DVD into a *.jpg ...in Adobe PhotoShop at 300dpi , but, ...how
do I know where print position will be using the plastic caddy ?

My Nero is an older version and in the "cover printing" module there is no
mention of printing on a disc, only jewel case inserts.
.....I do have Nero 7 Lite that came with a LiteOn DVD rewriter - I'm
wondering if there is something in there that could do it but, don't want to
start unisntalling and installing different versions of Nero.

....any tips apreciated,

regards, Richard

I use Acoustica CD Label Maker. Now granted its a pay program but I
thought it so good that I bought it. But you can get a trial to see
what its like.
You pick a printer, and on my Canon, it just worked CD # 1 straight out.
Yes and it too has a cd caddy insert.

And you are using printable CD's right. You can't print on plastic
coated CD's. The printable come with a paper like coating, usually
either silver or white.

Richard,

Surely with your Epson R300 came the Epson CD which includes "Epson Print
CD" !
I use the Epson R220 to print CD/DVDs and use this part of Epson's software

Thanks for that,

I'll investigate my Epson disks, ...thing is, I'm always very, VERY
reluctant to install all the "bells and whistles" software that comes with a
piece of hardware, and usually just dig out the bare minimum / required
driver ....if you see what I mean !

....it didn't cross my mind that there could be software to handle printing
with the "caddy" !!
