McciAsyncEventMgrWnd does not end on Windows shutdown

Default McciAsyncEventMgrWnd does not end on Windows shutdown
I frequently find that after clicking Shutdown, McciAsyncEventMgrWnd task
does not end and usually takes 3 attempts to end the task manually. Can
anyone advise on how to eliminate this problem please?
